Hey guys! This is it! The last evaluation for this school term and school year! To wrap it up I would like to know a bit more of our last fair experience, which in my opinion, was really amazing!

My field is science & technology

My creation was biodiesel which is a fuel made based on vegetable oils, is very important because we presented to the visitors that it helps to preserve and maintain more oil reserves, apart from much less polluting than fuels used today.
4. How did you decorate your stand and dressed up? Was it according to your product? Did you have a theme? A name? Explain it.
We decorate the stand with flowers and corn because from that we obtain the biodiesel, chemical instruments because with that we made the product and we drees up with white lab coats

We learn how to be more ecologist and preserve more the world of the pollution of the gases from the cars and recycle

My creation was perfum wich is a flavoring based on essences, is very important because we present to the visitors how prepare the perfum in a ecologic way and how affect in her health.

We decorate the stand with flowers, lemons, rose petals, vanilla, banana etc because we obtain the perfums with those ingredients, and we drees up with shirts white and black jeans.
Our theme was an a old perfumery in frances, because in this period they were very pretty and rocky.
Our name was RAN, the meaning of this name is because our bond of friendship is so big that we choice put that.

The Participants in my stand were: Carlos Orellana, Luis Cortes, Giovanni Bertolo and Eduardo Martel.

My group and i did soap as our product, so it can be categorized into the "Grooming" area.

Well, we believe this was a very richful experience because it taught us that chemistry hides in a lot of aspects of our lives, even in simple every-day-use things like soap. It was very nice to explain to people about the chemical characteristics of this product, because it’s a very interesting process.
4. How did you decorate your stand and dressed up? Was it according to your product? Did you have a theme? A name? Explain it.
We decorated our stand with posters, Balloons, Candy, Soap Bars and Ipads in order to make it likeable and an interesting stand to view. We dressed up in bathrobes, a very singular choice to pick at a school fair, But it turned out great because we got everyone’s attention. Our theme was a sauna and our stand names said “Jabon” on the front, and SOAP on the back.
5. What did you learn from this whole experience in “The chemistry fair”?
We learned that chemistry hides in every aspect of our lives like I previously stated, and also we were able to understand a product by making it ourselves and presenting it to the public.
Over all the chemistry fair was a great, fun experience for us as a group. We hope we can do something as fun and good for next year

The chemistry fair was important for students and visitors, our booth was one of the most important’s because it explained a very basic concept of electrochemistry, with the simple example of separating the water molecule and extract hydrogen, so our stand called hydrogen generator was where this element could get extracted and exposed its benefits, for example in the automotive industry.

Yes, we decided to put decoration; Yes, the decor was according to the product; the topic was hydrogen; the name of the stand is H explosive, because the hydrogen id a flammable element.

The product we decided to do was tooth paste and we can categorize it on the health section

- It actually was really relevant because, sadly, in our country the scarcity is being so hard the past 3 years so, as our product was one of the many products that you can't find on the market, everyone was interested to know how to do a homemade tooth paste! And it worked, everyone was satisfied with our presentation because now they know how to make one without going to the market and do the long line to get the product.
It also was important to know what chemicals have the tooth paste that everyday we use to clean our teeth because now the people know the ingredients to make one by themselves

- From the beginning we had the idea to decorate our stand like a dentist and dressed up like dentists. With the idea of the dentist everyone was excited to see what we had in there so actually it worked. The name of our tooth paste was "Freshty Freshty" because we wanted to make the people know at first sight that our product gives everyone a fresh breath and a clean smile, also is a name that is difficult to forget

- We learned that even the smallest product has something about chemistry, and it's amazing how many people just don't realize that

- We did four different experiments with dry ice.
It was a fun experience because we explain to people about the different reactions of these experiments.

- We decorate our stand as if falling snow, I refer a frozen environment.
our fair name was SUPER CONGELADOS.

We learned the different chemical reactions, and to work in group because is VERY difficult.

We could fit the catogory of science and technology.

We believe that our project was crucial to our growth and learning in terms of science. We made a lead acid battery, which contains properties of electrochemistry, physics, electric circuits and others. I believe those concepts are very practical, and were understood by both adults and students very well.

We were all dressed with a black shirt and jeans, plus a small sticker with the logo of our proyect. We decided to keep it simple so we could fit the picture of an engineer or scientist. We named ourselves "EXO", for no particular reason.
5. What did you learn from this whole experience in “The chemistry fair”?
We learned about the importance of chemistry in our practical life, also we strengthened ourselves as a team and had a really good time!

we can fit the candles in the grooming category, because it helps to keep areas with a good smell.

It had a very important roll, because many people use candles in their homes, and we show them how to make them in a fast and easy way, showing all the steps that we hat to do to get the final resoult.

We decorate our table with a vintage inspiration, and our stand was call Lumière because it means light in French, and we thought, that it was a good name four our product and stand.

in this fair we learned how to make homemade candles in an easy way, as well as its chemical processes, and all the steps that have to happen in order to obtain the desired end product. it was a candle with scent and vibrant color
